Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June 6, 1953) is an American actor from America. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the television show Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). She is the daughter of actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career at an early age. There is a chance that an agent rejected the offer on her behalf without telling her. Her initial choice was made to play the role by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for an appearance in the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. At first, she turned down the character because it seemed too weak. Glen developed a different character to play Sheba, which was much stronger. The Living Legend's initial 25-page script had been read by her and she immediately agreed. The show lasted only one season. The actress starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
