Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She is English, and her father is Nigerian. Her family was on the southern part of London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was a part of various stages during her high time at school, including the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. She has appeared as a guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as on six of the episodes Trexx and Flipside. She was Bambi as Bambi in The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also appeared on the comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport on ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series was cast to play Ashley Davenport. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes of the show's initial two seasons as a regular. In May 2013, the news broke that Madekwe will quit the show due to her guest appearance in the premiere episode of its third season. She starred as Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe got married to her long-time partner, Iddo. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was a character on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her family included both parents Roy and Patty as well as four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey in the winter and summer months. They grew up playing the arenas and baseball. Ashley did not walk; instead, she would dance. At age two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer immediately after that. After graduating from High School, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet pointe, acrobatics lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. Additionally, she was awarded the top awards for soloists in every important dance competitions including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
